Foundation History and Mission

Established in 1999 as the philanthropic arm of the Wisconsin Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (WIAAP), the foundation’s goals are to promote the health, safety and well-being of Wisconsin children and to support pediatrics as a medical specialty. The WIAAP Foundation supports Wisconsin children and pediatricians through educational programming, scholarships, projects improving the health of families and special funding during times of emergency or disaster.

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, we receive fully tax-deductible gifts, bequests, grants and gifts from individuals, estates, trusts, associations, corporations and other entities.
