Wisconsin collected ACE data using their Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System (BRFSS) for the first time in 2010. Since then, the state has made great strides increasing awareness about the long-term negative health effects of ACEs and using their ACE data to inform child maltreatment prevention action.
